Abstract:
A heat pump apparatus is provided with: a compressor (2) that comprises a cylindrical shell (2a) and that is for compressing a refrigerant; and a shell heat exchanger (23) that comprises a helical pipeline wound around an outer periphery of the shell (2a) and that is for transmitting heat of the shell (2a) to a heating medium passing through the pipeline. The shell heat exchanger (23) comprises a plurality of segments (23b, 23c) and a joining part for connecting end sections of the adjacent segments (23b, 23c). When viewed from the axial direction of the shell (2a), each of the segments (23b, 23c) at least partially has an arc-shaped shape along the periphery of the shell (2a). When the joining part is separated, each segment (23b, 23c) can be removed in a radial direction of the shell (2a).
