Abstract:
This heat pump cycle device comprises an accumulator (23), a compressor (11), and an operating mode switching unit (14a to 14d, 22a, 22b, 43). The operating mode switching unit is capable of switching between a first operating mode and a second operating mode in which a suction side refrigerant pressure is lower than in the first operating mode. A recovery flow passage (24) into which the refrigerant can flow is formed in a refrigerant flow passage through which the refrigerant does not flow when the operating mode switching unit is switching to the first operating mode. The heat pump cycle device performs liquid amount reduction control to reduce an amount of liquid phase refrigerant in the accumulator (23) by allowing the refrigerant to flow into the recovery flow passage (24) when the operating mode switching unit is switching from the first operating mode to the second operating mode.
