The invention relates to a heat pump device comprising a cyclone unit (30) and a piston engine (10) with a cylinder compartment (15). A liquid working medium is injected into the cyclone unit (30) while a gas working medium is compressed in the piston engine or while a gas working medium is expanded in the piston engine.
