Abstract:
A heat pump hot water supply outdoor unit having: a base plate having a rectangular base surface; a compressor that is located atop the base plate and that compresses a refrigerant; a soundproofing material covering the side surface of the compressor; and a soundproofing material placement section that is located on the base plate and that maintains the position of the lower end of the soundproofing material so as to be at higher position than the base surface. The soundproofing material placement section is configured so as to cover the corner section of the base plate closest to the compressor. The base plate is configured so as to include an edge section that extends upward from the sides of the base surface. The soundproofing material placement section is configured so as to maintain the position of the lower end of the soundproofing material so as to be at higher position than the upper end of the edge section.
