Abstract:
Disclosed is a heat pump system that can cause a favorable energy consumption efficiency even when using a fixed-volume-ratio multistage-compression refrigeration cycle. A compression mechanism (20) has a high-stage-side compression mechanism (26) and a low-stage-side compression mechanism (22) of which the volume ratio is in a fixed relationship. A mixing valve (91) adjusts the ratio of the rate of water flow to an intercooler-side hot water supply duct (90A) and the rate of water flow to a gas-cooler-side hot water supply duct (90B). A control unit (2) operates the mixing valve (91) in a manner so as to reduce the difference between the coolant temperature at the intercooler (5) outlet and the coolant temperature at the high-stage-side compression mechanism (26) outlet.
