Abstract:
A heat pump system having a heat-source-side unit, which has a compressor and a heat-source-side heat exchanger, and multiple usage units, which are connected in parallel to the heat-source-side unit and include a hot-water supply usage unit equipped with a hot-water supply heat exchanger that exchanges heat between water and a refrigerant, with a refrigeration cycle circuit which circulates the refrigerant to the compressor, the heat-source-side heat exchanger, and the multiple usage units being formed in the heat pump system. The heat pump system is equipped with: a circulation controller that controls the circulation of the refrigerant to the hot-water supply usage unit; a condensation detection means that detects freezing in the hot-water supply heat exchanger; and a shutoff control means that controls the circulation controller so as to shut off the circulation of refrigerant to the hot-water supply heat exchanger when the freezing detection means determines that freezing has occurred in the hot-water supply heat exchanger.
