Abstract:
The present invention provides a Co-free heat-resistant alloy for hearth metal members that exhibits properties equal to or superior to those of Co-containing heat-resistant steel. The heat-resistant alloy for hearth metal members according to the present invention is a heat-resistant alloy used for the hearth metal members of steel heating furnaces and contains, in mass%, C: 0.05%-0.5% and Si: more than 0% and not more than 0.95% where 0.05% ≤ C + Si ≤ 1.0%, Mn: more than 0% and not more than 1.0%, Ni: 40%-50%, Cr: 25%-35%, W: 1.0%-3.0%, and the remainder comprising at least 10% Fe and unavoidable impurities. The heat-resistant alloy for hearth metal members may also contain, in mass%, Ti: 0.05%-0.5% and/or Zr: 0.02%-1.0%.
