Abstract:
Provided are: a heat-resistant bilaminar heat-shrinkable tube having an outer layer which is heat-shrinkable at 250°C-280°C and which comprises a crosslinked body of a resin composition that contains a crosslinking aid and a resin such as a tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer having a melting point of 210°C-260°C, and an inner layer which comprises a hot-melt adhesive that contains an acid-modified tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer or the like as the main component, and that has a shear viscosity of less than 10000 Pa∙s at a shear rate of 10 s-1 at 250°C, wherein heat resistance is excellent such that resin deterioration or flow in the adhesive layer (inner layer) does not occur even after use at a high temperature for a prolonged period, adhesion to a conductor and an insulating layer in an ETFE electric wire is excellent, and the resin that forms the adhesive layer has assuredly sufficient fluidity at a heating temperature for heat shrinkage; and a method for covering a to-be-covered object using the heat-resistant bilaminar heat-shrinkable tube.
