Abstract:
The present invention provides a heat-resistant glass that has sufficient heat resistance to be used in a top plate for a cooker etc. and enables the formation of a pattern having depth and texture. Provided is a heat-resistant glass 10 that is provided with a transparent glass substrate 1 and a design layer 13 that is provided on one main surface 1a side of the transparent glass substrate 1, wherein the pattern of the design layer 13 is visible from the other main surface 1b side of the transparent glass substrate 1, said heat-resistant glass 10 being characterized in that the design layer 13 has a first layer 11, which is provided on the one main surface 1a of the transparent glass substrate 1 and in which a sparse region and dense region are formed in accordance with the pattern, and a second layer 12, which is provided uniformly so as to cover the first layer 11.
