Title:
HEAT-RESISTANT NANOFILAMENT WEB OBTAINED BY HIGH-SPEED WINDING, AND MEANS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/129264
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a means whereby a nanofilament web having heat resistant properties can be manufactured by a simple means from a crystalline thermoplastic polymer without the need for a specialized and high-precision/high-level apparatus, and to provide a means for winding while twisting the web. [Solution] Provided is a winding means whereby a nanofilament web having heat resistant properties can be obtained by directly winding, at a high speed of 1,000 m/min, a web comprising a filament having an average filament diameter of less than 1 µm in which a raw filament is supplied to an orifice at an atmospheric pressure (P1), heated by an infrared light beam directly below the orifice at an atmospheric pressure (P2) (P1 > P2), and stretched, and whereby a twist can be imparted to the web in the winding process thereof.
