A heat-resistant structure for a liquefied gas tank according to one aspect is a heat-resistant structure for a liquefied gas tank in which the surface of the liquefied gas tank is covered by a plurality of heat-resistant panels, an end surface of a first heat-resistant panel having a stepped shape comprising a plurality of side surfaces that are disposed progressively closer the inside of the first heat-resistant panel as the distance of same from the liquefied gas tank increases, and parallel surfaces that link the plurality of side surfaces and are parallel to the surface of the liquefied gas tank, and an end surface of a second heat-resistant panel adjacent to the first heat-resistant panel having a stepped shape comprising a plurality of side surfaces that are disposed progressively closer to the outside of the second heat-resistant panel as the distance of same from the liquefied gas tank increases, and face the plurality of side surfaces of the first heat-resistant panel across gaps therebetween, and parallel surfaces that link the plurality of side surfaces, are parallel with the surface of the liquefied gas tank, and abut the parallel surfaces of the first heat-resistant panel.
