Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE INDICATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1984/004618
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An erasable indicator using a heat-sensitive indicating element (1) having a hysteresis effect with respect to temperature change. This indicator comprises a wide endless heat-sensitive indicating element (1), drive means (2) for rotatably driving the indicating element (1), a first heater (3) for heat-sensitively recording information to be indicated on the element (1), a transparent heat insulator (4) of planar shape disposed at the back of the indicating screen to make close contact with the indicating element (1), illuminating means (5) disposed at the back of the insulator (4) for illuminating the indicating screen, a color filter (6) provided at the front of the indicating screen, and cooling means (7) for cooling information recorded on the element (1) after indicating it. Thus, it can indicate in high density, improve the quality of the screen, and repeatedly use at high speed period.
