Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a heat-sensitive layer for lithium ion secondary batteries, which is capable of efficiently inhibiting a temperature increase in case of abnormal overheating by increasing the resistance within a battery, thereby reducing the current. A heat-sensitive layer for lithium ion secondary batteries according to the present invention is formed from a heat-sensitive layer composition that contains particles, in each of which a second component is substantially partially positioned outside a particle that is formed from a first component. The storage elastic modulus of the heat-sensitive layer composition at 60°C is 10 kPa or more; and the storage elastic modulus of the heat-sensitive layer composition at 150°C is 1 kPa or less.
