Abstract:
The present invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film for which a width-direction physical property difference is kept small even when the film is thin, the film having the primary shrinkage direction in the film width direction and being characterized by satisfying the following conditions (1)-(5): (1) the thickness of the film is in the range of 6-27 µm; (2) the maximum angle of molecular orientation of the film is 5° or less; (3) the hot-water shrinkage rate in the film width direction at 90°C is 40-85%; (4) the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the hot-water shrinkage rate in the film width direction at 90°C is 2% or less; and (5) the difference between the maximum and minimum values when finding maximum thermal shrinkage stress in the film width direction at 90°C is less than 0.3 MPa.
