Abstract:
In order to provide a low-cost and highly versatile heat-shrinkable slitted tube which can be used without previous insertion, this heat-shrinkable slitted tube (1) is equipped with: a tube main body (10), which can be bent into a tubular shape surrounding a wire harness, and has a slit (10a) extending in the longitudinal direction, and shrinks when heat is applied; and a heat-resistant tape (20) which, when the tube main body (10) is in a closed state in which the tube main body has been deformed so as to close the slit (10a), fastens together the areas in the vicinity of the two ends (10b, 10c) of the tube main body (10) so as to maintain that closed state. When a wire harness has been inserted into the tube main body (10) of the heat-shrinkable slitted tube (1) through the slit (10a) and the tube main body (10) has been closed, and the heat-resistant tape (20) has fastened the two ends (10b, 10c) so as to maintain the closed state, heating is performed at a high temperature so as to heat-shrink the tube main body (10), and the tube main body (10) shrinks and thus is attached to the wire harness.
