Abstract:
Provided is a heat sink in which when brazing a casing and a flange body using a flux, rising of the flux can be inhibited and the seal surface of the flange body can be protected. In this heat sink in which a cylindrical flange body 6 is attached to a pair of communication holes 3 provided to a casing 2 via a brazing batch plate 7, and these components are integrally brazed, one end of the flange body 6 has a neck section 4 connected to the communication holes 3 and the other end has an annular seal surface 5, and a plurality of stepped sections 8 are formed in the outer periphery of the flange body 6, the stepped sections 8 having inverted step shapes and increasing in outer diameter from the neck section 4 toward the seal surface 5. Thus, during the brazing, the flux can be trapped at the stepped sections 8 and the seal surface of the flange body can be protected.
