Title:
HEAT-SOUND CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/181608
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This heat-sound converter (1) is designed to convert heat to sound waves using a thermoacoustic phenomenon. The heat-sound converter (1) comprises: a heater (2) having a first sound wave passage (21) through which a sound wave passes, and a high-temperature-side flow path (22) in which a first fluid (F1) circulates; a cooler (3) having a second sound wave passage (31) through which a sound wave passes, and a low-temperature-side flow path (32) in which a second fluid (F2) circulates; and a heat accumulator (4) having an intermediate sound wave passage (41) connecting the first sound wave passage (21) and the second sound wave passage (31). The high-temperature-side flow path (22) in the heater (2) has a structure such that the first fluid (F1) circulates from an inside (L1) position close to the heat accumulator (4) toward an outside (L2) position distant from the heat accumulator (4) in an axial direction (L) parallel to a center axis line (O) of the heat accumulator (4) and the heater (2).
