Abstract:
Provided is an exhaust manifold cover which can be extended by heat generation and which is affixed to an engine body, the exhaust manifold cover being configured so that the concentration of stress on a specific location can be prevented.
An exhaust manifold cover C1 is provided with a plate-shaped cover member 6 for covering at least a part of a heat source. The cover member 6 has a first affixation section FP1 and a second affixation section FP2, which are affixed so as to be in contact with the heat source. A bellows section 9 in which ridges and grooves extending in a transverse direction TD perpendicular to a centerline O passing through the first and second affixation sections FP1, FP2 are alternately formed is provided on the cover member 6 at a position between the first and second affixation sections FP1, FP2. The bellows section 9 has formed therein a groove pair composed of two grooves 91, 93 having different widths. Of the two grooves 91, 93 composing the groove pair, the first groove 91 which is near the first affixation section FP1 has a greater width than the second groove 93 which is near the second affixation section FP2.
