Title:
HEAT-TRANSPORT MEDIUM INCLUDING LATENT-HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL, MIXTURE FOR HEAT TRANSPORT, AND HEAT TRANSPORT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/204108
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Used as a heat-transport medium transported by a fluid that is liquid in the range of operating temperatures is a medium obtained such that a porous material that has a sponge hardness of 50 or less, is liquid-repellent relative to the fluid, and shows affinity for a latent-heat storage material that is incompatible with the fluid and has a melting point within the range of operating temperatures is impregnated with the latent-heat storage material, whereby heat can be transported stably at high thermal conversion efficiency even when circulating in a pipeline over an extended period of time. The porous material may have interconnected pores. The porosity of the porous material may be 50% or higher. The apparent density of the porous material is about 0.05-0.5 g/cm3. The proportion of the latent-heat storage material is about 100-5000 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the porous material. The porous material may contain a water-repellent lipophilic resin. The porous material may have a polyorganosiloxane skeleton.
