Abstract:
A heat treating roll (2) capable of continuously cooling or heating a treated matter such as a resin sheet (5) used in an injection molded sheet manufacturing device, comprising a hollow roll body (11) having a large number of circular through−holes (11a) provided in the axial direction of the roll at a same radius and specified close pitches in proximity to a cylindrical surface, a pair of side plates (12, 13) fixedly installed on both side end faces of the roll body (11) coaxially with each other and having, therein, a radial heating medium passages leading to the large number of circular through−holes (11a) in the cylindrical surface of the roll body (11), and a pair of rotating support shafts (12a, 13a) fixedly installed integrally with the side plates and extending, coaxially with the heat treating roll, from both sides of the heat treating roll having, at the axial center thereof, the heating medium passages leading to the radial heat medium passages of the side plates.
