Abstract:
Disclosed in the present specification is a heat treatment furnace that efficiently heat-treats an object of treatment being conveyed along a conveyance path defined by a plurality of guide rollers. This heat treatment furnace comprises: a furnace body; a conveyor device that conveys the object of treatment from an inlet through a treatment chamber to an outlet; a plurality of guide rollers that are disposed within the treatment chamber; and a heating device that is disposed within the treatment chamber and heats the object of treatment. For each of the plurality of guide rollers, the heating device comprises a first heater that is disposed inside and/or near the guide roller, and that heats the object of treatment. The heating device further comprises second heaters that heat the object of treatment near positions between the guide rollers on the conveyance path of the object of treatment and adjacent to the conveyance direction. The second heater radiates electromagnetic radiation in the infrared region.
