Abstract:
A heat treatment method is provided. The heat treatment method may comprise the steps of: preparing a metal oxide structure; heat-treating the metal oxide structure in a gas atmosphere including nitrogen and thereby manufacturing, from the metal oxide structure, a metal compound structure having an oxygen content lower than that of the metal oxide structure; and heat-treating the metal compound structure in a gas atmosphere including oxygen and thereby manufacturing, from the metal compound structure, a nitrogen-doped metal oxide structure having a specific surface area larger than that of the metal oxide.
