Abstract:
Disclosed is a heat treatment oil composition containing a mixed base oil composed of not less than 5 mass% and less than 50 mass% of a low-boiling-point base oil having a 5% distillation temperature of not less than 300˚C and not more than 400˚C, and more than 50 mass% and not more than 95 mass% of a high-boiling-point base oil having a 5% distillation temperature of not less than 500˚C. This heat treatment oil composition forms a quenching oil composition which hardly causes variations in hardness and quenching distortion when a large number of metal materials are quenched at the same time.
