Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat-treatment oil composition which contains one or more sulfur compounds and which has excellent storage stability and enables metallic materials having undergone heat treatments, e.g., quenching, to have excellent glitter properties. The problem was solved with a heat-treatment oil composition comprising one or more base oils (A) selected from the group consisting of mineral oils (A1), synthetic oils (A2), and vegetable oils (A3) and one or more sulfur compounds (B), wherein the sulfur compounds (B) comprise one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of specific sulfides (B1), specific sulfides (B2), and specific thiazoles (B3).
