Abstract:

If a tobacco heating tool and a heatable aroma cartridge in which a heatable aroma generation source and a mouthpiece are linked and which corresponds to a cigarette are used with the heatable aroma generation source being fitted to a heat source of the tobacco heating tool, smoking is safe due to reduced inhalation of harmful substances such as nicotine, but there is a problem in that it is necessary to use many materials that inhibit the generation and volatilization of smoke and aroma components, making it difficult to produce aroma and smoke that allow for sufficient enjoyment by a smoker while preventing thermal decomposition or combustion of the heatable aroma generation source.　This heatable aroma-generating substrate contains at least an aroma source material, an aerosol former, and a binder and is characterized by having a density of 700-1,100 mg/cm3 and a mass-to-surface area ratio of 0.09-0.32 mg/mm2.
