Abstract:
A heater device comprises: a planar heating element (22) for generating heat by energization; a detection circuit (30) that has a plurality of planar electrodes (241, 242) provided on one surface of the heating element and detects an object approaching or coming in contact with the plurality of electrodes on the basis of a change in the electrostatic capacitance between the plurality of electrodes; and a control unit (40) for controlling the energization of the heating element on the basis of the detection results of the detection circuit. The heating element and the plurality of electrodes are arranged parallel to each other. When the plurality of electrodes and the heating element are projected in a direction perpendicular to the plurality of electrodes and the heating element, a heating area where the heating element exists and a non-heating area where no heating element exists are formed. The plurality of electrodes has heat diffusion part (2412–2417, 2422–2427) configured to be included in at least the non-heating area and facilitating diffusion of heat transferred from the heating element in the planar direction of the plurality of electrodes.
