Abstract:
This heater of the present disclosure comprises: a rod-shaped ceramic body; a heating resistor that has a buried part buried in the ceramic body and an exposed part pulled to the outer circumference surface of the ceramic body; a metal member that is electrically connected to the heating resistor; and an electrically conductive joining member that joins the exposed part and the metal member, and that includes titanium. The joining member has: a layered first part in which the titanium is segregated along the boundary with the exposed part; and at least one granular second part, which is separated from the first part, and in which the titanium is segregated.
