Abstract:
This heater 10 is provided with a solid cylindrical heater body 1 having a ceramic body 11 and a heat generating resistor 12 which is embedded within the ceramic body 11 and which is extended to a side surface of the ceramic body 11 on the rear end side thereof; and a hollow cylindrical support fitting 2 mounted to a side surface of the heater body 1. The support fitting 2 has a first region 21 which is joined to the heater body 1 through a joining material 3 and a second region 22 which is located at a distance from the heater body 1. The support fitting 2 is shaped so as to open toward the rear end. A lid body 4 for separating a space on the front end side and a space on the rear end side is located between the heater body 1 and the second region 22.
