Abstract:
A heating apparatus (10) for a film material (101) used in manufacturing a film recording medium is provided with: a film transfer mechanism (100); a laser light source (204); a laser irradiating unit (202); and a laser control unit (209). The film transfer mechanism (100) has a film contact surface contacting one surface of the film material (101) and moves the film material (101) mounted thereon in a longitudinal direction of the film material (101). The laser irradiating unit (202) irradiates a laser beam (102) onto the film contact surface under the control of the laser control unit (209). The film contact surface includes a first contact surface and a second contact surface formed from material with different thermal conductivity with respect to the film material (101). The second contact surface is disposed at positions that come into contact with the ends of the film material (101) in the width direction. The first contact surface is disposed between the second contact surfaces. The first contact surface is formed from material with a lower thermal conductivity than the second contact surface.
