Abstract:
Provided is a heating body that can be worn on the body, for example, without being affixed thereto, which can be manufactured at high speed using a conventional rotating heat seal roller, with which a part that is worn has adequate strength for use with a hand or the like inserted thereinto, and which is safe and convenient to use. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the same. One example of a mode of embodiment of the present invention is a heating body, and a method for manufacturing the same, in which an exothermic composition which generates heat in the presence of air is accommodated in a bag body formed by heat sealing a one-surface side laminated base material comprising a first base material and a second base material and a covering material at peripheral edge portions thereof, characterized in that: one surface of the first base material is a non-woven fabric layer, and the other surface thereof is a heat sealable resin layer; the second base material is a sheet in which an olefin-based non-woven fabric layer and a resin film are laminated using an olefin-based resin; the first base material and the second base material are capable of forming, in a part thereof surrounded by a peripheral edge portion, a space into which a body part can be inserted or held; and in a heat seal part of the bag body peripheral edge portion, the heat sealable resin layer of the first base material and the non-woven fabric layer of the second base material are joined together, and the resin film of the second base material and the covering material are joined together.
