Abstract:
A heating cooker, provided with: a heating compartment for storing an item to be heated; a heating unit for heating the item to be heated stored in the heating compartment; an imaging unit for capturing an image of the interior of the heating compartment; a reading unit (19) for reading heating control information for the item to be heated from an image of the interior of the heating compartment captured by the imaging unit; and a candidate extraction unit (29) for extracting a candidate character, together with information indicating certainty, for each character constituting a character string included in the heating control information read by the reading unit (19). The heating cooker is also provided with: an error determining unit (30) for determining whether the heating control information constituted by the candidate characters extracted by the candidate extraction unit (29) is erroneous or not; and a heating control unit (14) for controlling the heating unit on the basis of the heating control information determined by the error determining unit (30) to be not erroneous.
