[Problem] To use sunlight as a heat source for heating an object to be heated, so that fuel and electric power are not required to heat the object to be heated, and fuel costs and electric power costs are reduced. [Solution] A heating device (1) for heating an object (51) to be heated is provided with: a light-condensing member (2) for condensing sunlight; and a transmission member (7) in which the sunlight condensed by the light-condensing member (2) is made to be incident on an incidence part (11) at one end, and light energy of the sunlight is transmitted and guided to an emission part (12) at another end, and emitted from the emission part (12) towards the object (51) to be heated. The transmission member (7) is configured by bundling together a plurality of optical fibres (8) each comprising: a core provided in the centre; and a cladding provided to the outside of the core. Each of the optical fibres (8) has the incidence part (11) provided to one end, and the emission part (12) provided to another end. Accordingly, sunlight can be used as a heat source, and thus fuel and electric power are not required to heat the object (51) to be heated.
