Abstract:
The present invention relates to a heating apparatus and a heating method for a hot stamping process that heats a steel sheet to process the same to a super high strength steel. The heating apparatus for a hot stamping process comprises: a transfer part for transferring a steel sheet on which an aluminum-silicon (Al-Si) alloy coating film is formed on an iron (Fe) base material; a first heating unit, disposed on an upper portion of the transfer part, for heating the steel sheet to a first target temperature which is a temperature less than or equal to the melting point of the coating film; a second heating unit, disposed at a rear end of the first heating unit, for heating the steel sheet to a second target temperature to melt the coating film to form a compound by means of reaction with the base material; a third heating unit, disposed at a rear end of the second heating unit, for heating the steel plate to a third target temperature; and a soaking unit, disposed at a rear end of the third heating unit, for heating the steel sheet to maintain the third target temperature for a predetermined time. With such a structure, a compound layer is formed between a coating film and a base material, and even when high-frequency heating is performed at a temperature higher than or equal to the melting point of the coating film, shrinkage of the coating film is prevented, and thus, the quality of a steel sheet can be improved.
