Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wet planar heating element and a manufacturing method therefor and, more specifically, to a wet planar heating element and a manufacturing method therefor, the element comprising: a planar heating unit including an upper waterproof film layer, a lower waterproof film layer, a planar heating layer located between the upper waterproof film layer and the lower waterproof film layer, and an electrode layer; external waterproof film layers respectively provided on both surfaces of the planar heating unit; and non-woven fabric layers made of fibers, respectively interposed between the planar heating unit and the external waterproof film layers, having pores between the fibers so as to have a plurality of pores, and having uneven portions formed on the surfaces thereof, wherein concave portions of the uneven portions are closed by the upper waterproof film layer, the lower waterproof film layer, and the external waterproof film layers so as to be formed as air pockets within the non-woven fabric layers. According to the present invention, the generation of a leakage current can be minimized by the pores of a non-woven fabric base material and a low dielectric constant of air within the air pockets formed in the non-woven fabric layers, such that a problem of an earth leakage breaker being operated is solved, thereby enabling wet construction, reduced power consumption, and a remarkably lowered risk of electrical fire. In addition, flexibility of the planar heating element is improved by using non-woven fabric such that the use of the planar heating element can be extended and the efficiency of construction work can be increased.
