Abstract:
This heating-furnace combustion-gas usage estimation device is provided with: a slab-information acquiring means for acquiring information relating to slabs; a temperature-rise computing means for computing, on the basis of the information on each slab, an energy-converted temperature rise converted to energy required for heating in a heating furnace; a temperature-rise editing means for developing the computed energy-converted temperature rise of each slab as an energy-converted temperature rise on a predetermined per-paced-calculation basis, and editing the same as the energy-converted temperature rise of the entire heating furnace on the per-paced-calculation basis; and a gas-usage estimation means for estimating gas usage in the heating furnace on the basis of the energy-converted temperature rise of the entire heating furnace on the per-paced-calculation basis and past proven gas usage results.
