Abstract:
The present invention relates to a heating jacket for outdoor piping, which, in the provision of a fluid, in a liquid or gas state, to be used as an adjuvant or raw material in industrial production, maintains the temperature of a pipe at a pre-set level, in response to temperature changes during winter weather, in order that the fluid can be smoothly supplied via the pipe, serving as a passageway. The characteristic structure of the present invention comprises unit modules each comprising: cases which cover the outer circumference of a pipe and which are installed by the lengthwise direction sides thereof being mutually joined by clamps; a heat insulating material installed so as to cover the inner surface of the cases; a hot wire installed inside the heat insulating material; a temperature sensor installed inside the heat insulating material; and a control unit installed in the case in order to control the hot wire in response to the reception of a control signal comprising a signal from the temperature sensor. A plurality of one or more of the module units, having a pre-set width, are included, and the module units are electrically or mechanically connected such that the width direction thereof corresponds with the length of the pipe.
