Abstract:
A heating medium storage apparatus 10 comprises: a heating medium tank which defines an airtight internal space 22; and a preheater 30 which is for melting a solid-state heating medium and which includes a temperature control unit 32. The temperature control unit has a first portion 32a and a second portion 32b. When the temperature control unit is provided so as to extend in the internal space, the first portion is in contact with the heating medium so as to be covered therewith, and the second portion is provided to be exposed projecting toward a gap region where the heating medium is not present in the internal space. When the temperature control unit is provided so as to extend while being in contact with the outer surface of the heating medium tank, the temperature control unit is in contact with a portion ranging from a first region corresponding to a region which constitutes the outer surface of the heating medium tank and which is in contact with the heating medium in the internal space to a second region corresponding to a region which is out of contact with the heating medium in the internal space. The first portion is in contact with the first region and the second portion is in contact with the second region.
