Description
HEATING PLATE FOR ONDOL
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a floor-heating panel.
Background Art
[2] The present invention relates to a floor-heating panel and, more particularly, to an improvement on Korean Pat. Appl. No. 10-2004-0088044, which was invented by the present inventor.
[3] The prior art, described above, is configured such that grooves are formed in an insulating plate member, hoses, which are heat exchange tubes, are mounted in the respective grooves, and flat metal plates are provided on both surfaces of the insulating plate member. Particularly, in the case where the floor of a room is not level, the prior art is disadvantageous in that the metal plates are separated from the insulating plate member. The above-described separation of the metal plates from the insulating plate member may decrease the efficiency of transmission of heat from the heat exchange tubes to the metal plates and may cause heat loss due to the presence of air between the metal plates and the insulating plate member. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[4] Accordingly, the present invention allows a metal plate, which is mounted on the upper surface of an insulating plate member, to be formed using a corrugated plate member having valleys formed in the longitudinal direction thereof, so that it increases the contact area between the insulating plate member and the metal plate, thus increasing the adhesive property thereof, prevents a floor-heating panel from being easily bent by increasing the compressive strength of the upper metal plate, so that the upper plate and the insulating plate member are not easily separated from each other even when a portion of the floor of a room is not level, has valleys provided in the upper metal plate, so that, in the case where fastening members, such as nails, are used to fasten the floor-heating panel to the floor of the room, the fastening members can be installed in the valleys and the upper ends of the fastening members can also be prevented from protruding beyond the surface of the upper plate, allows the valleys to be filled with filling material, thus maintaining the upper surface of the panel level, and allows a lower plate to be formed using metal, paper or fabric, thus providing a floor- heating panel suitable for use. The present invention, described above, is described with reference to the accompanying drawings below.
Advantageous Effects
[5] In the present invention, constructed as described above, the valleys 31 are formed in the metal plate, which is the upper plate 3, so that the contact area between the insulating plate member and the metal plate is increased, and thus the adhesive property thereof is improved. Furthermore, a floor-heating panel is not easily bent by increasing the compressive strength of the upper metal plate, so that the upper plate 3 and the insulating plate member 1 are not easily separated from each other even when a portion of the floor of a room is not level. Furthermore, valleys are provided in the metal plate, which is the upper plate 3, so that, in the case where fastening members, such as nails, are installed to fasten the floor-heating panel to the floor of the room, the fastening members can be installed in the valleys and the upper ends of the fastening members can also be prevented from protruding beyond the surface of the upper plate. Furthermore, the valleys 31 are filled with filling material, so that the upper surface of the panel can be maintained level. Furthermore, a lower plate is made of metal, paper or fabric, so that a floor-heating panel suitable for use can be provided.
[6] That is, in the present invention, the lower plate 4 is formed using a metal plate, so that the strength thereof is increased, and thus the present invention can be used as a portable floor-heating panel, with the result that the present invention can be used as an outdoor heating device. Furthermore the lower plate 4 is made of paper or fabric, so that the present invention can be used as a heating device, such as a floor heater, which is not moved. Brief Description of the Drawings

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[16] The first feature of the present invention is to provide a floor-heating panel, which includes an insulating plate member 1, heat exchange tube fitting grooves 11 formed in the upper surface of the insulating plate member 1, heat exchange tubes 2 mounted in the heat exchange tube fitting grooves 11, an upper plate 3 causing heat exchange tubes to be level by pressing upper surfaces of the heat exchange tubes 2, thus increasing the upper contact area thereof and reducing extra area in the heat exchange
tube fitting grooves 11, and a lower plate 4 for enhancing the insulating plate member 1, wherein the upper plate 3 is formed using a metal corrugated plate member having valleys 31, which are formed in a longitudinal direction.
[17] The above-described valleys 31 increase the compressive strength of the upper plate
3, and increase the contact area between the upper plate 3 and the insulating plate member 1, thus increasing the bonding effect. It is necessary to fasten the floor-heating panel to the floor of a room using nails or the like. In this case, it is preferred that nailheads do not protrude beyond the surface of the upper plate 3, so that the present invention allows such fastening members to be mounted in the valleys 31. It is preferred that the bottoms of the valleys 31, which are formed in the upper plate 3, be formed to be level. The above-described level state makes it convenient to drive the nails for fastening into the valleys 31.
[18] Furthermore, the second feature of the present invention is to allow the valleys 31 to be filled with filling material 32, thus maintaining the upper surface of the panel level.
[19] Furthermore, in the present invention, the lower plate 4 may be made of any one selected from among metal, paper or fabric, and the material of the lower plate may be selected so as to be suitable for use of the floor panel.
[20] It is preferred that bonding between the upper plate 3 and the insulating plate member 1 and between the insulating plate member 1 and the lower plate 4 be performed using an adhesive agent.
