A heating system and a heating assembly thereof, for use to heat a cigarette. The heating system comprises at least one heating piece (100) disposed axially around the cigarette and used for heating at least one section of the cigarette; section-based heating of the cigarette is based on axial and sequential section division along the cigarette; The heating assembly comprises the heating system, a housing structure, and a support assembly; the housing structure comprises a first housing (410) having an accommodating cavity thereinside and a second housing (420) bent along an open end of the first housing (410) towards the accommodating cavity; the heating piece (100) is disposed in the accommodating cavity along the same axial direction of the second housing (420); the heating piece (100) and the second housing (420) are communicated with each other to form a smoke channel for accommodating the cigarette. The heating system can heat at least one section of a cigarette, so that smoke aroma is uniform when a user sucks smoke.
