Abstract:
A heating system is provided with: a heat pump (1) that generates heat using electricity supplied by a second electricity system having low electricity rates; a tank (2) that stores the heat generated by the heat pump; a radiator (3) that radiates the heat stored in the tank; and a control unit (8), which receives a supply of electricity from a first electricity system, and controls the amount of heat radiated by the radiator (3), and which, when a signal indicating that the supply of electricity that has passed through the second electricity system is to be suspended after a prescribed amount of time is obtained from an energy supplier (4), from the time the signal is received to the time the supply of electricity that has passed through the second electricity system is suspended, forces the heat pump (1) to accumulate the heat that is needed while the supply of electricity that has passed through the second electricity system is suspended.
