Abstract:
A rotary pressure dehydrator (1) capable of effectively lowering the water content
of a discharged cake by promoting the drying of a material to be treated in addition
to the filtration and dehydration by a pressing force and a compressing force
acting on the material. The liquid material to be treated is introduced into an
annular filtration chamber (10) formed around a rotating shaft (2) and a screen
(5) is rotated to advance the material. A pressure is gradually applied to the
material to perform dehydrating treatment. A hollow (21) functioning as a flow
passage for hot steam is formed in an inner ring spacer (3) so that the filtration
chamber (10) and the material can be heated.
