Abstract:
The present invention relates to a heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle, and the purpose thereof is to not cause a large installation space and an unnecessary dead space, while being efficiently disposed in an engine room, thereby increasing space utilization of the engine room, and to minimize the operation of a heat exchanger-side blower which is not related to cooling and heating in a vehicle, as long as the performance of the cooling and heating in the vehicle is not degraded, thereby preventing unnecessary energy consumption and improving the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. In order to achieve such purposes, the present invention provides an HVAC system for a vehicle, for cooling and heating by providing cold and hot air into a vehicle, comprising: an HVAC module in which an HVAC case having a cold air passage and a hot air passage is provided, a cooling heat exchanger and a cold air adjusting door which are installed to the cold air passage are provided, and a heating heat exchanger and a hot air adjusting door which are installed to the hot air passage are provided; and a distribution duct for introducing cold and hot air blown from the cold air passage and the hot air passage of the HVAC module, and then distributing same to each part inside a vehicle, wherein the HVAC case of the HVAC module is formed along a dash panel and toward the left and right width directions of the vehicle.
