Abstract:

A heavy duty tire having a tread part (2) divided into five inner, middle, and outer rib-shaped land portions (R1), (R2) and (R2), and (R3) and (R3), wherein the inner rib-shaped land part (R1) is virtually divided into half areas (R1a) and (R1a) on both sides of a tire equator, and the middle and outer rib-shaped land portions (R2) and (R3) are virtually divided into the half areas (R2c) and (R3c) on the tire equator side and the half areas (R2e) and (R3e) on ground-contact end side, and where the sum total of a ground-contact load loaded on the half areas (R1a), (R2c), (R2e), (R3c), and (R3e) are (P1a), (P2c), (P2e), (P3c), and (P3e) in a normal ground-contact state where a normal load is applied, P2c/P1a is 0.9 to 1.05, P2e/P2c is 0.75 to 1.0, P3c/P2e is 0.9 to 1.2, and P3e/P3c is 0.8 to 1.1.
