Title:
HEAVY TRUCK FUEL-SAVING ROBOT DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/199909
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A series-parallel hybrid heavy truck fuel-saving robot system, primarily for highway artery logistics. In the present system, on the basis of three-dimensional electronic maps carried in a vehicle, dynamic three-dimensional positioning data of the vehicle measured by a satellite navigator, parameters of various vehicle subsystems and a state of charge of a power battery pack, and data such as the relative speed and the absolute distance between the vehicle and a forward vehicle in a same lane, said data being measured by forward-looking millimeter wave radar, and by means of dynamic coordination between a fuel-saving robot cloud-end AI brain and an AI brain carried in the vehicle, a vehicle controller directs an electric power divider of the vehicle to precisely and dynamically allocate the flow direction and amplitude of hundred-kilowatt-class power between an internal combustion engine (101), an electrical generator (110), battery packs (130a, 130b), and drive electric motors (140, 170) with a ten millisecond response time, thus satisfying transient power balance in kinetic equations for the vehicle in real time. By means of a fuel-saving predictively adaptive cruise control algorithm, minimization of vehicle fuel consumption and emissions is achieved, lessening labor intensity for drivers in long-haul driving, and improving active vehicle driving safety, among other beneficial effects.
