Description:
Invention Description

Invention Name: Height enhancement device for shoes for added height

Background of Relevant Arts or Science

Referring to Patent Application No. EP1615517B1 and US20120227291, the inventions have the characteristics of ordinary high-heeled shoes composed of the foot holding section and the lower part of the heel offering as much as 8-15 cm in height from the ground. These high- heeled shoes, particularly the shoes for women, feature a custom design. The disadvantage is that men cannot wear these high-heeled shoes for added height. The specially designed shape of the shoes also has a limitation in that the attire of the shoe wearer needs to match the shoes.

Referring to patent application number EP2233023A1 , the invention is a shoe that can be worn by both men and women consisting of flexible components and a height adjuster suitable for augmenting height due to its adjustability ease. However, there is a disadvantage in that the shoe cannot raise the height by more than 10 cm from the ground because walking is difficult at this height and the wearer may fall. This invention is suitable for slight height adjustments, especially for sports training or the type of activities and the shape of the shoes with exclusive designs.

Referring to Patent Application No. 0701004507 and Application No. 0803000939 submitted for registration in Thailand, the inventions are height augmentation devices to be inserted inside ordinary shoes on top of the inner sole of ordinary shoes, so the wearer looks much taller and proportionate to the added height due to the thickness of the invention in addition to the thickness of the inner sole and the thickness of the heel. Hence, the wearer appears much taller and proportionate to the increased height. Thus, the shoes to be worn must be slightly larger and longer than the wearer's actual foot sizes. Such height augmentation devices can be used with all types of shoes for both men and women. The disadvantage is that they are unable to raise more than 10 cm above the ground. If the invention is made higher, then the space inside the shoe shrinks and the foot cannot be fitted inside the regular shoe.

And even if the wearer can place his/her foot inside the shoe, part of the foot will extend from the shoe and the wearer will not be able to walk properly, or may even fall.

The height adjustment for shoes in this invention has been designed so more than 10 cm can be raised from the ground. The part that contains the foot is like ordinary shoes. At the bottom is the base for height adjustment designed to have a designated height serving to raise the height. The base of the height augmentation shoe is formed so it is longer than the foot containing part in order to be the base that support the foot containing part and the wearer's body weight. At the front of the height adjustment base is connected to the end of the height augmentation shoes in order to give flexibility while putting on into the foot containing part of ordinary shoes. At one section of the bottom of height adjustment base is connected to the height adjustment heel which is designed to be in the shape of human heel in order for flexibility during the putting on into ordinary shoes.

Invention Characteristics and Objectives

The height adjustment for shoes in this invention has been designed raise height to more than 10 cm above the ground. The part containing the foot is in the shape of high-heeled shoes. The bottom is the base for height adjustment designed to for a set height aimed at height augmentation. The base of the height augmentation shoe is formed so it is longer than the foot holding part to serve as a base supporting the foot holding part and the wearer's body weight. The front of the height adjustment base is connected to the end of the height augmentation shoes for flexibility while placing the foot into the foot holding part of ordinary shoes. The height augmentation shoe base, end and heel all jointly serve as a virtual human foot resembling a natural foot as closely as possible. The fact that the wearer inserts his/her foot into the body of the shoe and stands on the base makes the wearer look taller.

The objective of this invention is to gain a height augmentation device for shoes offering a maximum height increase that can be used with ordinary shoes and worn by both men and women.

The height augmentation can be more than 10 cm from the ground and the wearer can maintain balance and walk normally with any kind of shoes.

The next objective is to have a height augmentation device for shoes that offers more height and is attached to the wearer's foot at all times. Even when the ordinary shoe is removed, the wearer's height can still be increased and the device is concealed by the sock worn over it. ,

Figure 1 shows the components of the height augmentation device for shoes and allowing greater height adjustment:

The body of the shoe (10) is in the form of high heel shoe, the inside of which has a body of the shoe (1 1). The rear of the body of the shoe (12) is form to raise the body in the form of high heel shoe serving to hold the wearer's foot. When the wearer puts his/her foot into the body of the shoe (1 1) where the end of foot is lower than the heel. Part of the body of the shoe (10) has a height augmentation shoe lace (13) for tying so the body of the shoe (10) is fastened to the wearer's foot. The lower wall of the body of the shoe (14) is connected to the upper wall of the height augmentation shoe base (23).

The height augmentation shoe base (20) is made of hard EVA or synthetic rubber that is designed so the body of the height augmentation shoe base body (21) is the height of the base rising from front to back with the highest point at the heel area of the rear section of the height augmentation shoe base (22) which serves to support the foot and push the heel upward for height augmentation. The height must be concurrent with the set level. The upper wall of the height augmentation shoe base (23) is designed so its contour corresponds to the lower wall of the body of the shoe (14). The upper wall of the height augmentation shoe base (23) is connected to the lower wall of the body of the shoe (14). The height augmentation shoe base (20) forms a shape so the body of the height augmentation shoe base (21) is slightly longer than the body of the shoe (10) in order to the support base for the body of the shoe (10) and the wearer's body weight. The front section of the height augmentation shoe base (24) is connected to the height augmentation shoe end (30) and part of the lower wall of the height augmentation shoe base (25) is connected to part of the height augmentation shoe end (30) and the height augmentation shoe heel (40).

The height augmentation shoe end (30) is made of soft EVA or synthetic rubber designed so the body of the height augmentation shoe end (31) is in the form of human toes for flexibility.

The height augmentation shoe end (30) serves as virtual human toe provide as much similarity to human's toes when putting on into the body of the shoe of ordinary shoe (not shown). Part of the height augmentation shoe end (30) forms shape so part of the body of the height augmentation shoe end (31) comes to the part of the lower wall of the height augmentation shoe base (25) in order for flexibility when the foot is put into the body of the shoe of ordinary shoes (not shown) and to jointly take part in putting into the body of the shoe of ordinary shoe (not shown) to snugly fit. The height augmentation shoe end (31) is connected to the height augmentation shoe base body (21 ) in zigzag formation for strength and part of the height augmentation shoe end (30) is adjacent to the height augmentation shoe heel (40) and jointly becomes the lower base of the height augmentation shoe base (20) for flexibility while wearing ordinary shoes (not shown).

The height augmentation shoe heel (40) is made from soft EVA material or synthetic rubber material designed so the body of the height adjustment heel (41 ) is shaped like a human heel to provide flexibility. The height augmentation shoe heel (40) serves as virtual human heel providing as much similarity to human heel as possible when wearing the body of ordinary shoes (not shown). Part of the height augmentation shoe heel (40) forms the body of the height augmentation shoe heel (41) adjacent to the height augmentation shoe end (30) and jointly serving as the foundation of the height augmentation shoe base (20) for flexibility while wearing the ordinary shoe (not shown), and as the part placed into the body of the ordinary shoe (not shown) for a snug fit. The height adjustment heel (40) is connected to the lower wall of the height augmentation shoe base (25) by the connecting piece (42) which is installed in the upper wall of the height adjustment heel (43). The height augmentation shoe heel (40) can be removed and re-attached. In the event that ordinary shoes (not shown) have sufficient height, the user can remove the height adjustment heel (40) so the height augmentation shoe base (20) is as level with the floor as possible. While wearing the height augmentation device for shoes to add height to ordinary shoes (not shown), the wearer can walk both conveniently and naturally.

Figure 2 shows the components of height augmentation devices for shoes allowing greater height adjustment from another perspective showing the height adjustment shoe end (30) made from soft EVA material or synthetic material, which is flexible and virtually serves as the toe of a human foot when placed into the body of the ordinary shoe (not shown).
