Abstract:
This height measurement device comprises: an end effector that is capable of moving vertically; an actuator for driving the end effector; a control unit for acquiring the height position of the end effector while controlling the actuator; a sensor that is provided on the upper surface of an object under measurement below the end effector and outputs an output signal when the separation distance between the end effector and object under measurement becomes less than or equal to a prescribed distance; an operation execution unit for carrying out a first step for detecting the output signal while an operator lowers the end effector through manual control until the separation distance becomes shorter than the prescribed distance, a second step for raising the end effector through control by the control unit until the stopping of the output signal is detected, and a third step for lowering the end effector again through control by the control unit until the output signal is detected again; and a height measurement unit for converting the height position of the end effector acquired by the control unit at the point in time when the detection signal was detected again in the third step to the height of the object under measurement.
