Abstract:
A support member consisting of a flexible resin bar is inserted in a helical element. The helical element is a densely wound helical wire of a conductor covered with an insulating material, and the lower end of the conductor is exposed with the insulating material removed. The bottom of the support member is securely fitted in a hole formed in a metal fixture, which is connected electrically with the exposed lower end of the conductor of the helical element. The lower end of the metal fixture is threaded to mount a helical antenna (1) on an antenna support part. The winding pitch of the helical element is unlikely to change with time, and the electric characteristics are unlikely change when the antenna is bent.
