Abstract:
Provided is a helicopter-based rescue apparatus, comprising a helicopter (1) and hanging basket (9) provided with a controller (2), a control line (3), and a cable (4); the hanging basket (9) is provided with an underwater infrared camera (5), a powered pump (6), an airbag (10), an airbag control motor (8), a steering motor (7), and a motor hinge (11); the underwater infrared camera (5) shoots in real time the underwater environment surrounding a person in distress and sends the obtained images to the controller (2); the controller (2) analyzes and processes the received images, then controls the powered pump (6) to operate, thereby causing the hanging basket (9) to move into the proximity of the person in distress and perform rescue activities; the airbag (10) helps the hanging basket (9) to float on the surface of the sea and also prevents secondary injuries that may be caused during the pulling-up process; the motor hinge (11) converts the four walls of the hanging basket (9) from a laid-flat state to a three-dimensional state, thereby securing the person in distress inside the hanging basket (9) and preventing said person from sliding out of the hanging basket (9). Also disclosed is a helicopter-based rescue method, which increases the efficiency of maritime rescues and improves the physical health of rescue workers.
