Provided is a helmet securing detection device that can be stably secured on a securing portion of a detection sensor of a helmet. The helmet securing detection device 100 comprises a detection device body 101, a headband contact detection sensor 110, and a chinstrap contact detection sensor 120. The detection device body 101 comprises a control unit 103 in a casing 102, the control unit 103 detecting the securing state of the helmet 90. The headband contact detection sensor 110 is configured from a cloth-like securing body 111 configured from electroconductive fibers. The cloth-like securing body 111 is wrapped around the headband 92 of the helmet 90, and is provided with a cylindrical connector 112 comprising a surface fastener that maintains a cylindrical shape. The chinstrap contact detection sensor 120 is configured from a cloth-like securing body 121 configured from electroconductive fibers. The cloth-like securing body 121 is wrapped around a chinstrap 94 of the helmet 90, and is provided with a cylindrical connector 122 comprising a surface fastener that maintains a cylindrical shape.　FIG. 1
