Abstract:
In order to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs by allowing a liner to be arranged very simply and securely on the inside of a shell without using an adhesive or the like, the present invention has: a shell (2) which covers the head section of a wearer and forms the outer shape of a helmet; and a cushioning liner (3) arranged between the head section of the wearer and the inside of the shell (2), wherein: the liner (3) is formed in the shape of a liner by combining a plurality of liner pieces (3a), (3b), (3c) in the front-back direction or left-right direction of the shell (2); and a wearing opening (5) that is for the wearer and provided in the shell (2) is formed as a contracting edge section (10) having a reduced opening so as to prevent the escape of a piece connection end (11) generated when combining the liner pieces (3a), (3b), (3c) in the shell (2).
